What is that stupidity about "FREE TRADE"?
That so called "FREE TRADE" is bad for America.
What it really means that a number of countries are free to Rip Us Off ! ! !
I am all for FAIR TRADE.
For far too long we have had "Free Trade". We have low tariffs for goods coming into our country.
Why do we buy Japanese cars, but they do not buy ours? We have low import duties for their goods coming into the U.S.A. They have 100% duty on our cars going into Japan.
Our twenty thousand dollar car would cost a Japanese customer forty thousand dollars. Why? Because the Japanese customer would have to pay 100% import duty.
That is free trade for Japan, but is sure is NOT FAIR trade for us?
Japan has been doing that to us for a long time. The import duties should be the same "both ways".
China has been doing the same thing to us. They have not been doing it to us as long as Japan, but they are doing us worse.
They keep their cost of living low and pay the people low wages. They charge high import duties. We charge them low import duties. We can not compete with all off that!
We have the NAFTA trade agreement (It is really the NASTY trade agreement, for us. What it does to us is nasty ! ! !
Why oh Why!
China takes advantage of that. They ship us goods by way of Mexico. So they will have to pay even less import duties.
Our government has been "giving away the store", for far too long. Why do we have such bad trade agreements?
Trade agreements are made in some small countries, in SECRET. They should be made in a major country (preferably in the U.S.A.). They should be on T.V. so we can see what is going on.
All of our trade agreements should be rescinded. Then they should be renegotiated. We should get a "fair shake". Our government has "Let Us Down".
Why should we be borrowing money form China? Because we gave them our money through "UNFAIR FREE TRADE". It is long past time to stop the madness. If our congress will not do what is best for us, and what we want done, they should be replaced by congress members who will ! ! !
We need a new True Christian Party(TM),that will do what America wants and do what is best for America.
Good bye Republican Party, good by Democratic Party. We have had FAR too much of the "Elephant" and the "Donkey." Elephants and Donkeys are O.K. in zoos, but do we need them in the White House and the U.S. Congress? ? ?
